You girls know I'm not working right now and bored, right? OK I'm going shopping for a little while and when I get home there had better be something good and juicy for me to read

Junk is boring as hell around here, which is generally the case with local boards. I bet things will pick up when people start receiving their SS gifts.
My office/the dogs' room needs some major TLC.
The utility room in the basement is getting out of hand. It kind of looks like we had an earthquake, only in that room.
The closet under the stairs, next to the utility room, could use some love too. That is the least disorganized of the three, but not how I'd like it to be.
Do you have some problem areas?
Right now, the kitchen. Oooh lord that thing is still a mess from Tgiving. Everything is clean, but the pantry needs to be overhauled and the bakeware needs to be re-stored properly.
And my closet. I need to put my laundry away, but that's nothing new. It happens every week. I just quit half way through last week.
I'm currently trying to talk myself out of registering for another half-marathon on Sunday. I ran one last Sunday, and people are badgering me to run this one on Sunday.
Our dog room/office needs so help. It was looking okay, but then I had a catastropher (wyatt shittt everywhere, and the top of the desk fell off the base so it's been a mess since then).. the guest bed is currently piled with laundry. I really really really really reallyx1million hate folding laundry.

Yay!!! We are talking now
Funny we are talking about organizing because I finally organized my spice cabinet just this afternoon! I still have to do my 2 coat closets. I want to make one a closet to hang coats in, and the other one I want to make all shelves so we can buy and have a place to store more bulk things. But I need H to help with that, cutting and installing the shelves and getting rid of some of his bazillion coats that he doesn't wear. My Tupperware cabinet and pots and pans cabinet are getting really bad because they are the low ones and I can't bend anymore so I just chuck everything in and hope I can get it closed. I'll pay some attention to them once my stomach goes back to a normal size.
OOH I got a shadow box for my souvineers from my baby shower to hang in the nursery. The hostess did onsies for everyone to sign so I will put those in it. Also the ribbon that was the closest to the size of my belly. A clothes pin from the clothes pin game. A baby bottle for candy with the date on it. And a fun lollipop since the theme was Candy Land. I'm excited to get it put together and hung up. That will take care of the last wall and the nursery will finally be done!
I got it at Micheals and they have a buy one get one free sale on frames and shadow boxes so for free I got MIL a shadow box flag holder to hold her military flag that she recieved a few months ago when her dad passed away.
I like to be super organized so my house is usually in order. That wasn't always the case when I was working though.....
Right now I am in Orlando and my parents are the kings/queens of clutter. Their house isn't dirty/messy.......just piles of stuff here and there. And things not in their proper place. Plus they hate to throw anything away. Shh, I threw out half of their piles of junk because it was mostly store ads, casino deals (my mom is a gambler) and magazines. I doubt they will even notice the stuff is gone.
I have spent my afternoon organizing their kitchen and family room. Tomorrow I am going to tackle my old bedroom and the guest room. After that it will be the living room and dining room. Then the garage. I hope to have their house completely organized by the time Christmas rolls around.

I could use you over here also. I am the queen of stacks of papers scattered everywhere. They are neatly stacked but they are unnecessary. I need to start with asking Macys to stop sending me bright shiny catalogs.
I can't wait to see this! That is an adorable idea. Also, I have been eating lollipops at work all week. THANKS!
Ha! I got all the cupcakes that were left so I've been eating cupcakes all week. Lollipops are at least a little smaller and less calories. Thank god the last one finally got eaten yesterday, I had to bring some to my sisters house to get the temptation away.
Darn, I wish I would have thought to save some stuf from my shower. What a cute idea to do a shadow box. Pregnancy brain has certainly gotten to me because as a scrapbooker I usually keep mementos like this. I didn't even bring a camera with me to my shower!
As for organizing, the kitchen table and Junior's room are the two places that need help inside the house. The garage is H's territory so he can deal with that mess. I'm afraid to fall over, have something fall on me, etc. if I try to organize the garage. I love to organize all the time but H is the complete opposite and he is a paper piler to the nth degree.
