Birth Control Question
So, I ran out of my birth control, and couldn't afford to get another pack until a week after my period had finished. I have been taking the pills for almost a week, and I was wondering if it was safe to have sex.

I'd probably wait the full week to be sure, or use a back up method.
As PP's stated, I would definitely use a back up method. Sounds like since you are skipping weeks, your body will be a bit "out of whack" for your next cycle.
