Re: PG/Mom Check-In
Besides that, everything seemed fine IMO, but I guess I'll hear more today.
I'm getting there!!! My awesome shower was this weekend, my friend Lisa and my sister planned it all and I am a lucky girl. The surprise theme was Candy Land and as I walked up her entrance way there were different colored glittery papers to line it and candy canes and I knew right away what it was. SO fun! I'm waiting for peeps who took pics to send them my way because unfortunately I didn't take a single one
Here's the candy bar though for anyone who's not on my facebook. Is this awesome or what??? The little bottles were for the guests to fill up to take candy home
My 36 week sonogram is tomorrow and we will see if she's still breech (she is) and probably schedule our c section. I'm OK with it. Whatever is best for the baby. We met our Pediatrition today (love him, knew I would, my sister does and she's a long time nurse and we have similar judge of character) and we told him she is breech and he said with breech females he does a sonogram right away on her hips because there is a chance of hip dysplasia and she may need a brace. It's entirely correctable when caught in the first 8 months. That is so much better than other things I feared, namely neurological problems. But probably she's just perfect and stubborn, like her mom
hahaha. Can't believe I'm next!!
Lila is ALL over the place. She is completely obsessed with the Christmas tree and if we turn our back for 2 seconds, she is ripping off bows and trying to open presents. I am getting so excited for Christmas!!
This age is so much fun, her personality is blossoming, she is such a happy baby. She had her photos taken with Santa at the Angelini's Christmas party yesterday, it was a complete failure. I can't wait to see them, lol. She is about to turn 9mos and still has no teeth, I am starting to wonder if she is ever going to get them.
Married Bio
We are officially mobile! Well, backwards. But who cares. She can make her way across the entire room, until she gets stuck under some piece of furniture. This morning I was getting ready and heard screams of "mom mom mom mom mom" and came out to find her stuck between the chair and end table. She's seriously growing up so fast. She is completely obsessed with Christmas lights.
So far the pregnancy is going well. I'm exhausted, and the morning sickness has definitely started to hit more. I'll take whatever I get, as long as it means a healthy baby! I also apparently have a belly. I saw someone I know yesterday and she sent me a message last night, saying she didn't know I was pregnant and when was I due? WOW! Getting these comments already?? At 5.5 weeks??
Chelsea - Kennedy is 9.5 months and still no teeth either. lol

Married Bio
Today I am 14 weeks.
We have our 16 week appt. next Thursday (the 15th, which is a few days before I'm 16 weeks because we will be out of town for Christmas) and the following day we have our "sneak peek" sonogram to tell us the sex of the baby. At my 12 week appt. over Thanksgiving break the sonogram tech already had a prediction and she wrote it down on one of the pics for me to take home in an envelope because H couldn't be there, he had a job interview.
So anyway we opened the envelope together and her prediction was..........
BOY
So we aren't buying anything yet or whatever, but it is fun to have a prediction and to at least think of the baby as a he, instead of an it. And if it ends up that it is actually a girl in a few weeks, then we are super psyched for that too. Either way we are excited and we'll see what happens.
Also, I lost 4 lbs but the dr. said it's ok. I was having a lot of food aversions and not wanting to eat very much. I'm starting to eat a lot more so I think I should be going back to normal.
We put up our x-mas tree this past weekend. There is no trusting the twins, so we put a fence up around it. So far it's keeping them out, but they are very determined to figure out a way in!
They are definitely talking more these days and repeating more of what we say. Must really watch our language now! They still have not figured out how to get out of their cribs and I pray that it doesnt happen for a long time, although I have witnessed Brooke attempting
Yay more BOY! hehehe
Shawna not to worry, I lost a total of 8lbs during the first trimester due to food aversion too and throwing up. I gained most of it back but still need to catch up since according to my doctor I should be in the 10-15lb weight gain range.
As for my little boy, he's doing well and moving around more now. The other day he had the hiccups and it took a few people to explain to me that that is what is happening lol. It was an amazing feeling heheh. I guess he's learning how to swallow now. I have been singing him the alphabet and numbers every morning on the way to work heheheheh since he can hear now. Found the Baby Mozart on youtube so I play that for him too.
We are still debating on the name and these are our options: (J since we both have Js in our names)
Jordan
Jayden
Joshua
we have not decided if we are giving him a 2nd name (middle name) since in Philippines the maiden name is used as baby's middle name. Therefore, it'll be long heheh but we're still debating. Our son is the first Grandson on each side of the family and Im thinking if we end up giving him a 2nd name it'll be Romeo (my dad's name) since we're all girls and none of us can carry over his lastname, I figured atleast my son can carry his first name hehehhe. We have 4 months to decide on his name, hehhe.
Shawna ~ that's awesome! I asked at our NT scan, but she gave me the "it's too early" response. boo.
so, our gender will be found out on January 11 at my anatomy scan.
I'm still sick all.the.time. I'm going in at 6:45 tonight because they are afraid I'm dehydrated. I've thrown up 6 times today. I can't function at work or at home trying to take care of O.
I love Joshua for a boys name. If I had a boy that's probably what I would have picked, even though it's H's bosses name. It's just fun to say
We're all moved in at our new place! I love it more than I remembered, and our landlord was awesome and painted the nursery the pink we wanted. DH put together the crib and changing table last night, and we're planning to have the rest of the furniture assembled and arranged by next weekend. Then I need to start washing her linens and clothes and get the rest of the nursery set up. I can't believe she's going to be here in less than 8 weeks!
I'm doing pretty good physically. I can't eat as regularly with my new job, so I've been feeling kind of woozy around mid-morning, but I'm hoping my body gets used to it. And I'm in pain ALL the time now. I guess it's just going to be that way until she gets here.
I have my 15 week appt. on Thursday and can't wait to hear the baby's heartbeat. I've gained 1.5 lbs so far. This is almost exactly what happened last pregnancy. This time I'm having more food aversion and nothing sounds good to eat so I think that is why I haven't gained as much weight.
DS has been sleeping terribly for the last week. I'm praying that he gets back to his normal routine so we can rest. I'm exhausted.
Photo/Family Blog
I just realized that we aren't showing as Team Blue although we have known for quite a while we are having a boy. No worries, though.
Sara - I love the theme and you look awesome!
Later this month we'll finish working on the nursery. We pretty much have all the necessities so now it is just organizing it all and having everything washed and ready. Other than being super tired and easily out-of-breath, I'm feeling pretty good right now. At least it is mana geable enough that I can still work but I am absolutely exhausted when I get home.
Zoe is pulling herself up to stand all the time now and has figured out how to get down now.
It only took her a few days, which I was happy about because she would get stuck that way in her crib and she wasn't happy about it, lol.
It's definitely getting harder to travel with her! Last night on the plane she was so tired but wouldn't fall asleep. H and I had to work really hard to keep her from having a melt down. Luckily the plane was very empty so we didn't have anyone sitting in front of us since she was kicking the seat.
Baby fever is kicking in big time, but H and I aren't quite ready yet. I want to lose some weight and get in better shape first. I am exhausted all the time. I have a dr appt on Friday so hopefully my thyroid and everything is ok. It's not like Zoe keeps me up all night, but working 2 nights a week is rough. that may be what's causing my exhaustion. I could barely keep my eyes open at my parents house this past weekend.
Things are fine here, although I've been insanely busy and so am tired all the time. Baby girl is still kicking up a storm and my mom even got to feel it while she was in town visiting this weekend. My H has felt it a bunch of times and he loves it.
I did get scolded for slightly high weight gain at my last appointment, which was disappointing but I can't say that I'm shocked. Considering that the only thing I have been craving since the beginning is carbs and lots of them, really it should be worse than it is. So I'm trying to eat better, although I'm still hungry all the time. My feet have also started swelling a bit by the end of the day, which I don't care for. I've started propping them up on my recycle bin at work, lol!
We're also having a lot of hospital stress - the hospital we were planning to deliver at has been going through all this drama, going bankrupt, threatening to close, blah blah blah. They finally were bought and thus are staying open, but now apparently they don't take our insurance. The next nearest hospital is really tough to get to without a car and there's really no reasonable public transportation to get there. So we have to figure out if we want to switch doctors and go to a different hospital in the city or stay with our doctors and suck it up for cab fare. Annoying.

I am 11 weeks pregnant and I have had to switch over to maternity clothes. I am kinda scared at quickly my belly has shown, considering how fat I got during my pregnancy with Macy. I have already had a few people ask me when I am due, yikes. I will be totally pissed if I go to my US next week and they tell me I am not pregnant, just fat. Ha. Speaking of, next week I will be 12 weeks pregnant, which developmentally would be I would be in the 2nd tri. Gosh, I can't wait to be out of the danger zone of the 1st tri.
As for Macy, she is oh-so cute but can be quite a handful. We just got back from Las Vegas LATE last night, which was her last free plane ride, as she will turn two on Thursday. Hard to believe she will be 2. And hard to believe in her short live she has traveled over 20 times on a plane. She has been to San Fran once, the Bahamas twice, Las Vegas three time, and about 16 times to Orlando. Our traveling is going to cut back greatly now that I have to buy her plane ticket
Baby Macy is here!
12/09 - Macy (daughter) | 4/10 - Began TTC Baby #2 | 12/10 - Chemical Pregnancy | 1/12 - Miscarriage at 14 weeks | DX - PCOS & Hyperthyroidism
Charlotte just turned 7 months and is EVERYWHERE too!! She's been pulling herself up for the past month now and she's really starting to test herself. She tries to see how long she can stand on her own by letting go, she has no fear. And I think we are FINALLY sleeping through the night!! Only took 7 months lol
Also, she will not wear a bib!! She rips it off the second I put it on. I hope this is just a phase...
OMG! You practically have a Christmas baby! Like you said, at least there is a plan and how she gets here is not important but that she is nice and healthy.
I'm a little late, one of my best friends has been in town. That was very nice! I'm over the 1/2 way point and feeling pretty good most of the time. We had our level 2 u/s and everything looks great with her. The Peri said that IVF babies have a higher rate of heart defects so he wants to do a more in depth u/s of her heart and flow rates on the 27th. Has anyone else heard of this? Also, I went and registered last weekend, it was so surreal after TTC for so long.
Hope everyone has a great week!
