As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. DH got to come home today! He has PICC line for the next two weeks for sure, so we'll get schooled on that tomorrow with a home health nurse. His knee no longer hurts because of the infection, but I think it set back his progress a tad for rehab. But, we're moving forward, so that is what matters.

They actually never diagnosed the infection. He was on antibiotics for a full 24 hours before they did a fluid draw, so the cultures came back negative, and never grew anything. They are just assuming it was staph because he is responding to the antibiotics. It's weird because the tests showed no infection, but it was obvious there was. That, and his white blood cell count was through the roof.
Too funny! I'll have to look into that, she loves playing with her Barbies right now!
