We got some coupons in the mail for them since one is opening nearby.
I've never been so I'm just wondering how it is. Is it worth checking out? Anything special we should get?
Re: Harris Teeter?
i've only been to Harris Teeter's in random locations (such as Myrtle Beach) but whenever i've gone I've always liked them - I think they're kind of a step up from maybe a Giant but not quite as "trendy" as a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's.
I'm really excited about the one opening downtown!
I'm excited to check them out too! The coupons were good, four of them $10 off a $40 purchase.
When I lived in NC Harris Teeter was everywhere. They were known for having triple coupons for like a 3 day period each month, so the store would be packed.
Always had fresh produce and a great seafood counter.
I love the Teets!!
They're priced in line with the other major grocery stores, they have excellent produce, and everyone who works there is so damn nice. O and the store is always immaculate.
HT is our everyday store since we're just a few minutes from the 24-hour Maple Lawn location. It's wonderful. Great food and an incredibly kind staff that can't do enough for you.

We went to the new one today. I was impressed with the meat, cheese, and produce sections. Some of the staple items seemed a bit high though. They are having amazing sales for the grand opening though. Including a free gift certificate I received for getting a card, I paid $21.00 for $50.00 worth of groceries. Only two of the items I bought were not on sale.
They are very child friendly. They had a guy making ballon animals, who will be there all weekend. They also have free helium balloons and they had a wide variety of samples. A and her friend F were in toddler heaven.
That's awesome! We are definitely going to check it out this weekend. Thanks.
