Dogs Being Poisoned Near DU

9 News ran this story tonight about dogs being poisoned in the DU neighborhood.  These are our next door neighbors.  Three dogs on our block have been poisoned so far but thankfully they've all recovered.  And luckily, our dogs haven't been affected.  We're still not sure if it was actually tainted meatballs or something else.  Our neighbor's vet initially mentioned marijuana poisoning and tonight DH found medical marijuana brownie wrappers in our yard and our neighbor found the same thing in his yard.  I'm not sure why someone would do this, but all I can say is that people are sick.  We're afraid to let our dogs outside alone, so we have to go out with them, flashlight in hand, every time they need to go out.

Re: Dogs Being Poisoned Near DU

  • Marijuana isn't harmful to dogs.  They just act really bad until it passes through their system.

This is why people shouldn't leave their dogs outdoors.  It's really hard when you're just letting them out to potty, though.

A big old middle finger to you, stupid Nest.
  • Thanks for the heads up.
