I did it last week as well and the cashier was very confused. She almost wouldn't give me the gift card.
How could she be confused? She scans it and the register tells them to give you a gift card. I hate cashiers that want to fight about coupons. It's from their own darn web site!
When they ring it up it first charges you for the gift card, then deducts the coupon. She took that negative -$10.00 to mean that the gift card had been applied to my total without taking into account the charge directly above it.
It was a general nightmare. But not ebough to keep me from doing it again.

I've been loving target lately. With the coupon from last week and all the ones that were printing out at the register when i was doing my Depelchin shopping for work, I probably got about $40-$50 off which means I was able to buy even more for the kids.
I'm planning on doing shopping for my niece/nephews tomorrow so I know I'll be using my coupon!
