Drinks?

Just wondering - what drinks/beverages do you regularly keep in your house?

Re: Drinks?

  • Always: milk, a Brita pitcher of water and a bottle of juice - either orange, apple, cranberry, or cran-grape, K-Cups (coffee, hot cocoa, sweet iced tea), a variety of tea bags.Oh, and I keep Hansen root beer hidden in the pantry for the very rare occasion that I *really* crave a soda.

Occasionally: Diet Coke, beer, and/or bourbon - all for DH when he's in the mood. None of them are a constant in our kitchen.

I drink water 99% of the time, DH drinks iced tea 90% of the time, and DD gets mostly water with the occasional juice or milk.

  • Milk, coffee, tea, a variety of soda (all leftover from parties I rarely buy it just for us), ginger ale for when I am not feeling well, wine, beer, club soda, tonic water, vodka and other liquor. I mostly drink just water or coffee, but I like to have a variety for guests.
  • Milk (but less for drinking and more for coffee, cereal, etc), diet coke, water, lately lots of non-caffeinated soda (sprite, ginger ale) for me, beer, wine, and orange juice. Sometimes another kind of juice (such as apple or cranberry) but that's only about 50% of the time.  H loves apple cider in the fall/winter so we have that now but that's not year-round.

  • I used to drink coffee pretty much constantly, but ever since I got pregnant I have been drinking tons of water and occassionally a cup of camomile tea.  I also usually have a can or two of ginger ale on hand.  It is the only thing I want when I don't feel good.

DH mostly drinks Coke Zero or water.

DD gets mostly water and she still gets 1 bottle a day of whole organic milk.  She gets juice very rarely. She has never really been insterested in it, so I figured that I wouldn't push it.  Pretty mucht the only way she'll even attempt juice is if we give her a juice box, so we keep a few juice of those hidden in the back of the fridge for treats or when she is sick.

  • Milk, K-cups of coffee and tea. We also have tea bags. I also often have a carton/jug of some kind of juice - right now it's OJ.

Occasionally I'll buy some Diet Coke, but though DH and I both drink soda, we usually just grab a 20oz bottle here and there.

  • Water, gatorade, cherry coke zero, carrot juice, orange juice, almond milk (and sometimes skim too), seltzer or sparkling water and home brewed ice tea (when I get the chance to make it).  Very occasionally we'll have a regular coke.  Sometimes an Odwalla smoothie or two.
  • We usually just drink water or milk but occasionally we buy orange or cranberry juice. DH usually has some beer in the fridge and we have a few random bottles of wine we could crack open. I usually just buy sodas or iced tea when I know guests are coming over.
  • Staples: Whole Milk (yeah that's how we roll), No Sugar Added Cranberry Juice (me), Ketel One (me), Vitamin Water (for DH), Orange Juice (DH) and then this:

DH is all about Jack and this little family of Jack showed up before Thanksgiving and I don't think it's every going to leave.  Well, bottles will get emptied and re-purchased.

We keep a few coffee varieties on supply, but both of us try to not drink coffee on the weekends because we consume so much during the week.  Our fridge has a water dispenser, so that gets used all the time.

  • Always- coffee, tea, almond milk, and diet caffeine-free soda, usually diet sprite or something similar.  We usually have a bottle of wine around, and we keep an assortment of liquor in the bar.

Sometimes- diet coke, juice, vitamin water.

  • Milk, Brita pitcher, cran juice for me, apple cider or iced tea for DH. Sodas are only a random occurrence. We always have beer since DH brews, a couple bottles of wine and a random assortment of liquor, but ALWAYS Bailey's and Jameson during the winter, which reminds me to add coffee and various teas.

  • Brita pitcher, skim milk for us, WM for DS, Kcups for coffee.  Once every few months DH will buy a six pack of Ginger Ale, but that's rare.  Oh and we have 3 or 4 different types of tea, my fave is Lemon, DH's is camomile.

  • Milk (2%), almond milk, diet pepsi, diet dr. pepper, and water.  I'll buy OJ when we're having house guests or one of us is sick.
  • 2% milk for DS and DH, skim milk for me, coffee, OJ, and apple juice. DH likes to buy diet coke or sometimes energy drinks, but I mostly drink water.

  • Water (in the Pur filter/dispenser and in bottled form, which is leftover from parties), milk (skim for me/DH and organic whole for DS), coffee, juice of some type (right now it's orange and apple), and Pepsi One for DH. DH usually has beer in our spare fridge and a bottle or two of wine around, but I don't think we've got either right now. Our spare fridge also has sodas in it that were all leftover from parties.
  • Is it sad that my first thought was alcoholic drinks???? LOL! Wine, Kettle one, and Captain, and Jack are staples in that department though we have a stocked liquor cabinet.

OJ, Apple, milk, crystal light decaf tea, and cans of diet coke are pretty much our staples. We mostly drink water and I have OJ for breakfast.

  • I'm pretty bad about keeping anything other than milk in the house. We always have liquor, but it's often bottles of strange stuff that you wouldnt' make a cocktail with.
