This is the toughest part of my pregnancy so far!

Seriously...this not knowing when/how I'll go into labor is KILLING me!!! I'm such a planner, so this is rough!

Re: This is the toughest part of my pregnancy so far!

  • I was the same way.  I needed to plan everything to a tee so the waiting was the worst.  I was glad she was waiting to come because I wanted a healthy LO but at the same time, I also had a day in my  head when I wanted her to come!

  • I am at the point where I think that it is MUCH easier to have an inside baby.  Having an outside baby is going to be a big transition.

It's beyond my control so LO can come whenever it feels like it :)  Ask me again in three weeks if baby isn't here.

  • Ugh it's totally annoying not knowing when it'll happen.  I remember w/ Jake, my doctors were telling me for 6 weeks that I could go "any day" since I was dilating and having contractions so that made it way worse.  I ended up being induced a week overdue.  It sucks!!

Same here! "Any day now" from 37 weeks on and I ended up being 5 days late. I remember how crazy I was going, but I also look back on those days of reading an entire book, baking something, napping and just hanging out all day quite fondly now. :) Easier said than done, but try to enjoy it while you can!

  • I was pretty chill about it but as I was approaching the 2 week overdue mark, even my patience was pretty thin. Just remember that it's out of your hands for the most part, nature will do what she's going to do and not much will modify that. Keep your mind and body (relatively) busy and just know that Kristy is right- they are a LOT easier on the inside, so enjoy those last moments where your time is just that- YOURS! And don't worry, little one will be here soon enough, even if each day seems to drag at the end!

  • I don't have any ideas for making this time or the unknown easier, but just wanted to say hang in there.  Even though you don't know when he'll choose to make an appearance, it's got to be soon!
