So today I went to find a new dress to wear to Myles' finalization hearing, and I couldn't find a single dress in the store in my size. I had to go to Lane Bryant. I refused to buy a dress.
I weigh as much as I did when I was pregnant. I'm disgusted, and I know it's my fault. So this is me saying I'm fat as hell, and for Xmas I'm giving myself motivation.

Re: Shopping sad
Oh hun.
So... what are you going to wear for the hearing? It'll be such a great day, you still deserve to look smashing no matter what the number on the tag says!

Aw Mo, don't be so hard on yourself. You've had a LOT of major life changes lately, and you're still beautiful.
That being said, take this wakeup call and run with it. I KNOW you can do it, it might just take some more figuring and adjusting now that you've got that adorable little guy in your life.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Don't worry about the numbers on the dress. I am finding that a lot of places are sizing down and keeping the numbers the same. I say this for real, not just trying to convince myself I can still totally fit into a size 12. My tiny, annoying friends all agree.
You're a mom and busy. Enjoy life, rather than trying to worry about the minor details. The weight loss will come as life settles in more. Try for some new amazing jewelry instead of a new dress.
I completely agree. You are a beautiful woman no matter what. Trust me I struggle with my weight every day. It's hard, and upgoing battle every day. You can only take it one day at a time. My boys come before anything, so my weight always gets puts on the back burner. I know I will get there, and so will you.
I have nothing more to add besides you're amazing and you get Myles forever. That's the best gift ever. A tag size seems insignificant compared to that.
I couldn't have said it better. You have been through so much in the past year, you are one of the strongest women that I know.
I can't say it any better than the previous ladies.
MO - we love you for you, not the size on a dress and Myles loves you for you too.
