Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

It looks like it would make cake pops a bazillion times easier. Although I'm sure you're completely kick-ass at it already :)

  • you know, I've seen those before, but here's what I don't get - I guess they just bake like round little cakes with sticks?  I think the whole appeal of a cake pop is the cake + icing combo.  Which you loose with those pans, same with the BabyCakes ones. 

    And actually, I think the PITA part is the dipping and decorating.  I kind of hate cake pops now for this reason, lol!

  • Ah, I see. See I was just thinking about how much of a PITA it must be to make tons of little round cakes! I hadn't really considered the icing portion of it.

  • the portioning isn't too bad, I just use a cookie scoop, then roll them between my hands.  God bless whoever invented cookie scoops.
