Failed 1 hr. Glucose

OK ladies reassure me. I failed my 1 hr. glucose test today. Have any of you failed and then passed the 3 hr? The Dr. does not want me to come back until my next appointment as he said he is not too worried and that I should just ?cut back on the holiday fudge?.

    I failed with both of my pregnancies. Even my 2nd preganancy it was a failure of like 40pts. I passed both of my 3 hrs by yhe 2hr mark.

    If they're being THAT laid back about it, then you must not have failed by much. My guess is that you'll do okay for the 3 hour. Otherwise they'd get you eating less carbs asap. That's good news, right!?

    I failed HUGELY with Jovie! To the point where they almost sent me right to the hospital for nutrition counseling. Luckily it was a fluke. I forgot about the test and chugged a latte in the parking lot and had steroid shots to help baby grow the day before which can spike your blood sugar too...THEN they gave me the gluco drink! Luckily when I went in for the 3hr I only had to do 2hrs of it because my blood sugar was so low. I think if they aren't worried you shouldn't be either! Have some holiday sweets, just not too many ;-)

    Me too. Failed the first, passed the second. It's really common, try not to worry.

    It is really common to fail the one hour test.  Good luck on your 3 hour! 

    (And FWIW, I have had GD with both pregnancies.  It's not fun, but it's manageable and not the end of the world, even if it is the end of carb loading LOL)

    I failed it too and passed the 3 hour.  I think it's pretty common.

    With my first I failed the 1 hr Glucose test by a few points.  They sent me to do the 3 hour at Mercy (which completely sucks!), and I passed that fine with no worries.
