i have many questions for you.
1. what are david's baby sitting rates?
2. how do you like having children in our neighborhood?
3. how do you suggest i prevent my child from inheriting the loveable south philly accent?
4. how do you suggest i prevent my child from sneaking into the 2st bars or drinking underage at mummer events?
5. do your children go to school in the neighborhood? if so, what have your experiences been?
6. any eom activities or other neighborhood kiddie things that they are involved in?
thank you!
Re: keldel
1. just feed him. preferably sushi and cheesesteaks
2. I love it, much more than the secluded SP neighborhood I grew up in. Having a few parks, target, wawa and a library within walking distance saves my sanity.
3. i am still trying to figure this one out
4. rather than prevent it, i encourage it. baby sd will be close enough to always stumble home safely
5. they do not. thing 1 is in a public school but not in the neighorhood- the ones in our hood aren't too hot. The catholic ones have a crappy curriculum and high price tag. Many of the neighborhood kids go to one of the charter schools and attend ccd at St Paul's in bella Vista. thing 2 is in a lutheran pre-school that is for ages 3-5. email me and we can discuss so I can share my experiences with the previous schools both have attended
6. Thing 1 does eom summer camp and loves it. I wouldn't suggest it to under age 5 though. He also plays roller hockey for them at Burke park and does ice hockey at Rizzo Rink. When baby sd gets a little older, eom has bitty sports programs for ages 2-5??, they are usually 6 week programs and a fun introduction to the sport. The library has storytime twice a week. There is a music class that my friend attends with her infant that I can gte more info on if interested, it is during the week when I am working though so we can't make it
let me know if you have any questions and congrats again!

this is good. i will likely forget all of this and email you again in the future.
where is the library that you go to? i know of the one near Christian st, but nothing in the neighborhood.
in other news - have you had the federal donuts stuff yet? hot donuts are wondeful! chicken is making me want to puke these days so i cant really comment fairly on that.
2nd and snyder, across from Mick daniel's, hours are a little funky so call ahead
yes, I have been stopping in Friday mornings for a treat after I drop Thing 1 at school. I prefer the hot over the fancy, they are a little too sweet. I have only had the chicken once and it was whatever DH saved me from his lunch, I liked it just haven't been able to get down there again before they sell out. Once you get your appetite back, defnitely give it a try
