WWND- Gift Related

FIL & MIL are Looooaded.  Which makes it very hard to buy for them for Christmas, since anything they want, they'll buy for themselves.

I found something that I know they'd really like, but it's about $100 out of our budget.  They helped us buy a house this year, so I feel like we could spend a little more (sort of as a thank you?), but I'd prefer to spend it on people who don't already have everything.

WWND?  i've been searching for *something* for them for months, literally and this is the first thing I've seen that I think they would like.

Re: WWND- Gift Related

  • I totally understand wanting to stick to a budget when you are buying for people that are loaded.  What is the gift?

My dad and stepmom are like this.  The only gift I've ever bought her that she has actually used is a GC to a spa.  She likes a lot of other things that I could buy for her, but she is sooooo picky that she doesn't like anything I pick out.

My dad is a little easier to buy for since he realizes he is hard to buy for.  He is happy with anything.  I haven't done this, but I might get him some spices from Savory Spice Shop since he loves to grill.

  • I wanted to add that this is when I would do something home made, but my stepmom hates that stuff so much (she doesn't like that I can sew and would rather pay me to have thing altered than do it myself!)  If your MIL like hand made items, you could look on Etsy.  Kindle cover?  Tote bag for a trip they are taking?
