We found out about DH's family's xmas celebration 2 weeks in advance and we actually have the time off to attend this year.

The research talk I went to today had these awesome cream cheese brownies.
Sorry I am not feeling very introspective today.
So happy our kitchen is done, I wasn't 100% on board w/ DH design, but OMG it looks FRICKING AWESOME. I love it and it is seriously at least 1/2 the price we would have paid a contractor to do it.
DD just gets cuter and cuter every day. She's having some kind of emotional/developmental hurdle right now, which is fascinating and a little annoying b/c she's so sensitive, but seeing her imagination grow literally overnight is amazing. She's just started making up stories and little routines and assigns me and DH roles almost every night. I think this morning I was a witch, last night I was a queen, I just love watching her grown and change.
Getting the Christmas decorating done and the main floor cleaned up.
Hysterical movies. Yesterday: Crazy Stupid Love; Today: Friends With Benefits.
Having a little girl to make Christmas so much more fun than ever before.
Having such a wonderful Mom. She's planned a Polar Express trip for DD this weekend - we're going up Saturday and staying overnight; and at the end of the month she taking my sisters, the kids and I all to Gaylord at National Harbor to see their Christmas displays, check out Ice, etc - the entire holiday package.
An incredible husband. He brought me flowers this weekend because I was sick, he let me sleep in despite having already taken care of DD on his own the day before, he does simple things like helping me haul all my crap upstairs at night. He's just a genuinely good man.
I'm thankful that I don't have to touch my pump the three days I'm off each week.
I'm thankful for my DH who stays home with the girls twice a week and is amazing with them.
I'm thankful for my mom..and MIL
I'm thankful for Kathryn's advice on how to give Ava her medicine--I'm going to try it later and hope it works!
My family for helping me get through what is a tough holiday season and my daughter for giving me a million reasons to smile every day.
Kohl's for their amazing deals and sales. I just got a crapton of gifts for $140...and $20 to spend there next week.
I am thankful for being accepted into Towson's grad program and beginning what I am truly meant to do in life. Also grateful for a supportive husband on this.
Someone's getting a little brother!
Thursdays are my early days where I get to leave at 4:30 which is only an hour from now!
CIO round 2 (which we started last night) was fairly successful and both DS and I slept well last night. I'm looking forward to continuing tonight!
I am thankful that overall, DS is a good sleeper and a non-fussy baby. He has his moments (or days or weeks) but on the whole I think we've lucked out so far.

Lately I've been feeling particularly thankful for my job- it's turned out to be a perfect fit and is opening so many doors for me. And I'm thankful for H for supporting me in many ways, including career-wise.
Today I'm thankful for good health- knock on wood.
My amazing daughter and incredible husband.
The fact that as of Wednesday I will be a SAHM.
The dove caramel/chocolate candy that I just ate.
For my brother's girlfriend and the fact that not only did I get over my dislike for her, we've actually grown to be pretty good friends.
