What do you want for Christmas?
Big, small, homemade, anything. I'm looking for some ideas for a few people left on my list.
Re: What do you want for Christmas?
a day to myself--lol!
I want a Lladro Nativity figurine, a couple of books (can't wait to get my hands on The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks), a lot of yarn, and anything with pandas on it. A nice bottle of chardonnay or cabernet would be nice too.

I read this book. It's really good! I learned a lot and it reads like a story.
I used HeLa cells for years in another life, so I'm anxious to read up on it.

Dr.L., if you don't get it for some reason, I'd be happy to loan you my copy. I thought it was fascinating and awful, all at the same time.
I just sent DH my list last night as my family never knows what to get me and I actually came up with a few ideas this year.
1. Stitch markers for my knitting. Could be stocking stuffers or a gift from my soon-to-be BIL since I don't want him spending much. Aren't these and these cute?
2. Harmony interchangeable circular knitting needles
3. Tumi Villa Business Tote (this would be a combined gift from multiple people)
4. Binoculars for safari. I've done no research on these though and think they'd be more likely as a joint gift for me and DH together as I think good ones are fairly pricey.
Looking at that list, I don't think it's very helpful to you as they're really specific to my interests and life, haha!
peace and quiet. lol
All my stuff is "big"
A new watch
UD Naked palette
gcs to J Crew or Victoria's Secret
Ipad
Ipod nano w. dock station
A new fleece
I doubt I will actually get any of those things.
I already treated myself to:
Pilates classes (a set of 10)
Little Gym membership for DS and me for 1 month since I am off for 2 weeks. It was a Groupon so it was more than 50% off.
Looking at Punky's list I realized that I already know I'm getting a Nano. It's to replace the one I left on the plane on the way home from Brazil
At least we didn't pay for it the first time as it was a gift from DH's company (who used to consult on Apple products).
I'm kind of excited that the current version of the Nano has a radio, though I actually think I like the style of the old model better.
To many things...
Want:
Vase from a local artist
Watch from J Crew
Anything from Ted Baker
Hermes cologne
Reality:
Having kitchen painted, and electrical work done... who knows what will appear from the "want" list. ; )
Kindle fire
Purse
Wallet
Clarisonic or sephora gc
Umbrella
Punky I love love love the naked pallete so I really hope you get it.
I would love an ice cream maker and new boots. I won't get either I am pretty sure. DH and I said we weren't going to really do gifts this year.
