Organizing Instruction Manuals
I've seen around that the thing to do with instruction manuals is to file them in a binder inside of plastic protective sheets. I want to organize mine by room of the house. The problem is, some of the manuals I have (for the TV and for FIOS particularly) are really thick! I feel like I'm going to need a 3.5" binder. Can anyone offer up a solution? Where do you store instruction manuals?

I do exactly this. I keep it in the attic so that none of our precious space downstairs is taken up. I have folders by type of manual (electronics, furniture, appliances, tools, misc.)
We have an organizing tote that includes a larger front area for bulkier items.
