morning. (thursday).
i can't say it's "good"...and really, my normal peppiness is gone today.
i got a call from hercules doctor, and they're pinning him at about 2 months.. h and i are completely distraught on what to do...they're strongly suggesting chemo, we're just not really sure about that.
i found a single flea on my little pup yesterday..so i immediately dabbed him with flea-poison....we usually don't give it to them in the winter because it's unnecessary, so good thing i had some handy.
then i saw uw's fbook post last night and i got depressed some more.
then my mom called me and told me her car got broken into and we lost lots of valuable stuff, too.
at least today can only be better, right?

It does sound like a tough morning. I'm at work for a long meeting, but thankfully we are done at noon. Then a doctor's appointment and then my afternoon is free. I have a little more Christmas shopping to do but I don't know when I'm going to do that.
I hope everyone's day gets better.

Since babykarebear is up so early, we plan on catching a mom and baby movie at Lincoln Square Cinemas. Hope it goes well.

My brother is in court right now as I type this divorcing his batshitcrazy wife.
All this theft talk this morning makes me want to figure out our security system. Previous owners had no information on it - even though they were original owners of the house.
My petty work complaints seem so trivial compared to what jennlin and uwhusky are going through.

Good morning. I need to stop spending money on myself, but I have desperately needed a warddrobe revamp for YEARS and have finally been coming across clothes I like! I can resist the expensive stuff, but the sales are harder...like the turtleneck sweaters I just found at Fred Meyer that look just like the ones I've had approx 15 years and need to replace but hadn't found similar ones. They're 50% off and just like I like...sigh.
I have about 50% of my Christmas shopping done but I'm mostly down to the people I don't have ideas for.
One of my favorite coworkers is having bypass surgery today. He's like a favorite uncle to me and he's going to be out of the office 6-8 weeks. T&P that he comes through it all with flying colors! My friend with the cancer is going to be started chemo next week. (I worry this place makes people sick! Another coworker had massive brain surgery a year ago...and we only have about 22 employees!)
