When decorating for the holidays, do you have a theme? (Only certain colors, or objects like snowmen or santa stuff, etc.)
No theme. Our tree only has ornaments that mean something, but they're all a mishmash of stuff. Decorations are mainly snowmen, which I just realized now.
Do your pets have stockings (if applicable)?
I don't have stockings for them. I don't usually get them anything. My cat doesn't like treats or toys and the dog is on a diet so his treats are carrots.
Do you send holiday cards? With or without a photo?
I usually send a photo card of just Alex. I did them up this year, but I'm not sending them. The photo looked good on my computer but when I picked up the finished product, it's horrible. After the issue with deleting an entire days' work trying to take a decent picture of a 2 year old, and now the finished cards looking so bad, I'm using it as a sign to just skip this year.

I'll have a newborn and a toddler that hates sleep. I'll be at home and awake I'm sure.

I do have some other colored bulbs on my tree though. My mini tree in my front room is red, gold and purple to match the purple in that room.

Do you send holiday cards? With or without a photo? I usually don't. Last year I sent a photo card cuz I found a coupon code for free ones. I'm not planning on doing any this year.
Have you started thinking about NYE plans? Probably go to a nice dinner with my dad, sister and BIL. But they have a baby, so maybe not. If not, Im sure we will stay home.

I generally stick with Gold and brown. But I have some snowmen and santa stuff too.

I laugh at our tree. It's clearly Joe and Amanda--lots of star wars and sports ornaments, and then lots of purple, angel, and medical ornaments

No theme. But our ornaments all have meaning - we collect them as we travel or buy meaningful ones (baby's first christmas). We want it to 'tell the story' of our family.

No theme. We have a variety of things that we have collected or received as gifts. We have a few newer ornaments that I have picked up however the majority of our ornaments on our tree tell a story about our life, I love it!!

Um, Christmas? I have a smattering of stuff I've gotten from my mom picking stuff up at craft fairs and Hobby Lobby after-Christmas sales. Its fun, to say the least.
Do your pets have stockings (if applicable)? Yes. Rob and I each have a stocking from BB&B (after-Christmas sale, of course) with our initials. So I bought Elliot a dollar-tree cheapie and put an "E" on it in marker.

Have you started thinking about NYE plans? Yes. We want an easy night, so we're probably heading over to Rob's parents' house. They'll likely be babysitting his two nieces while their parents are out at the bars. Ironically, the childless son and his wife will be there. Hahaha. I think we'll just get some frozen pizza rolls and such from the grocery store and play some board games. I like quiet nights in.
