As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

T&P for a student of mine
17-year-old female student...
She has a history of asthma. She was diagnosed with bronchitis last month, and then mono.
She was at school last Thursday in dance class (on pointe at the time, actually) when she had an asthma attack and collapsed.
She was non-responsive to her inhaler and rushed to the ER.
Her lungs were failing, and by Saturday morning she was in a medically-induced coma on lung bypass.
She's still in a coma. She's had several bypass surgeries.
They discovered a small spot of mold on her lungs, but still aren't sure what the root of the problem is.
She's expected to be in a coma at least through Monday, and then even if all is well, she'll be in ICU until January.
This is a tough time of year for students (exams, recitals, sickness with weather changes, and general end-of-the-semester fatigue) to have to deal with this stress.
