disgusted with my ILs
Not a single person from DH's family has called him this week to see how he is doing. His mom called me briefly Monday night after he was admitted to the hospital to see what the scoop was, but that's it. Nobody stopped up to see him, noone sent him a text or called. How do you know that your son is in the hospital and not care enough to even check in on him? If that was my kid in the hospital, I would be up there every day! My mom, SIL, grandparents, cousins, and aunt and uncle have all called, sent texts or stopped in to see him this week.
Seriously, these people disgust me. It is getting harder and harder for me to hold my tongue when we around them on holidays.

Totally agree. Saying anything probably won't help. People like that will never see it.
I agree with these ladies. I'm so sorry. I hope your DH is feeling a lot better and is back to normal very soon!
Urghh sucky in-laws suck-a-roo!! I am SOOO excited to see my this Monday and Tuesday for Xmas-too bad I cannot get off work since its almost finals week OOOPS!
Hope everything continues to get better for your husband? Had you scheduled his football game trip (I think that was you) for his birthday or did you decide on something else?
His family sounds like a bunch of turds.
It's good that he has a great wife and her family that cares.
