Dr. Elliot at Blank

Has anyone seen him or dealt with him? Thoughts?

Re: Dr. Elliot at Blank

  • I've met him on several occasions, but never as a patient. I know that he is highly respected in the community and that Adam really looks up to him.  He is an older physician and kind of in the twilight of his career. Due to his experience and basically unceasing quest for knowledge, he now runs a diagnostic clinic full time (he was originally a hem/onc doctor).  He has a ph.d. in microbiology along with his md, so he is very well trained in many diseases, particularly infectious diseases.  Adam consults w/ Dr. Elliot when he needs to get to the bottom of a particularly puzzling patient.  I think that he is an awesome resource.  Ordinarily he won't be the treating physician, but he'll figure out what is wrong and send you to the correct specialist.

  • Puzzling definitely describes what we are going through. Thank you! I have turned down a referral to him twice and now I think our pedi is really pushing us vs leaving it solely up to me. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it. Our pedi highly trusts him too, I just hesitate jumping to specialists.
