I've officially joined your ranks.
When I'm not actively dry-heaving into the tube, I'm not having much luck sucking the snot out. (Gah, this is so disgusting.) I don't know what "speed" and "pressure" to suck with. (That's what she said.)
What am I doing wrong?

Do you let C kiss you when he has a runny nose? You're more likely to get more snot on you doing that then when you're using the nose frida...just sayin'
Um...we have these new fangled things called klenex so I wipe my kids nose.
We also used the battery operated nose sucker and that thing worked really well and I didn't have to manually suck the snot out of my kids nose.

It takes 2 of us to pin lyra down to use the bulb, I can't imagine trying to have a hose going from her nose to my mouth, she would have that thing ripped out in seconds, excuse the bad typing she is helping me.
This thread literally made me dry heave.
I dont think Audrey would tolerate it, either.

People! You don't get any snot in your mouth! There is a filter thing that stops it. And it never even reaches the filter to begin with.
And besides, I'm sure all of you have had a certain other bodily fluid in your mouths before! It's no different.
