Michelle Duggar lost her baby :(

Just saw it posted.

I'm so sad for them.  I wonder if they'll take precautions (charting, certainly not birth control) to avoid pregnancy now after Josie's premature birth and this loss.

  • That's so sad. Sad

  • That's heartbreaking Sad and I really hope all the nay-sayers don't jump on the "she shouldn't be surprised this happened" bandwagon. Yes, she has 19 children and is older, but that doesn't mean this loss is any less significant than any other loss a mother has to face.

  • Wait, she was due in April? Even assuming it was the end of April, that's a 2nd trimester miscarriage. Or am I doing the math wrong??

ETA:  I just read on another website that they went in for the anatomy scan at 20 weeks and saw no hearteat on the u/s. How terribly tragic.

  • Very sad.  It can happen at any time and being out of the first trimester doesn't mean you're in the safe zone.  It's a terrible thing for anyone to have to endure.  M/C is so much more common than most people think.  I had no clue how often it happens until it happened to me.

    ditto.

I can't imagine thinking you're essentially in the clear and having that happen.  I'm so sad for them

oh no. How sad. A m/c regardless if you have 1 or 19 children, is still a loss. My heart breaks for her.

    Ditto. That's very very sad.

I wonder how they will address it on the show.
