15th Anniversary reviews
Hi all!
Yesterday hubby and I celebrated our first 15 years together 
We went to lunch at Asiate at the Mandarin Oriental... absolutely fabulous and delicious. When I made the reservation I put in the notes that it was going to be a special occasion so they reserved one of the private sofa-like tables right by the window. The view was great, despite the crappy weather
I can totally recommend this place, it's somewhat expensive but I was actually expecting to pay more... and they have a $34 prix fixe menu option, which I thought was a nice incentive. We had the risotto, salmon for me and lamb for hubby, then we ordered two choices of desserts and the staff surprised us with a "happy anniversary" chocolate cake... yum!
In the evening we went to see Blue Man Group and loved it! We were made part of the show ... like I needed to be in another one . Fifteen minutes in they made us change seats and the whole show stopped as if we had arrived late, LOL!
Anyways, it was a great day. We enjoyed taking an otherwise regular day to just celebrate us
Oh, and the fruit tart I purchased from the bakery at Whole Foods was delicious, as always.
Since I can't post pictures on TN, I'm attaching a link to the post I just made on my local board on TK... it includes a picture of my new PINK bouncy curls! Tanya at the Aveda Salon on Columbus Ave did a fantastic job! I recommend her too
