I think you two are the ones that are familiar with Peddler's Village. We're staying at the Golden Plough Inn...where in Peddler's Village is that compared to the place that has all the kid's stuff in it? (Can't remember the name, but it's like a discovery/play place for kids).
Brody is staying at the Inn with two babysitters (17 and 20 years old) and I thought if the kid's place was close, they could take him there and it would be fun for everyone. Also, I'm assuming there are places to eat within walking distance? I need to leave money for their dinner (and B's) or tell them to order pizza lol (which I would pay for too).
ETA: The babysitters are for the day of the wedding. They're arriving around 3:00PM and will stay until we get back, so around 11:00PM.
Re: :: Emily / Becky ::
Sorry so late, I can't check TN at work...
Honestly, I don't know too much about Giggleberry Fair, as I'm pretty sure it was built when I was in college so I never went as a kid. I've only been in it once, when P was a couple months old and I met a friend with her two kids (one was under one, the other was probably 2 or 2.5). My impression was that it was like a bigger version of Chuck E. Cheese, but I don't think I saw the toddler area since we were only there to eat. There is definitely kid-friendly food inside Giggleberry.
Everything in Peddler's Village is walkable. I doubt it is a mile, but it is on the other side and across a somewhat busy street. Definitely doable if you have a stroller; if not, it could be a hike depending on how well Brody walks longer distances. My friend was pushing her youngest in a stroller and her oldest was walking alongside for most of the day. We walked the whole village at least twice.
Emily is right, most of the places are pub-like, sometimes they have carts throughout the area that sell food. Pizza's probably a good idea.
You'll definitely get a better feel for it once you get there. It won't take long for you to get your bearings, it really isn't that big.
