For those that are new to this, DH and I agreed to order our dining room furniture in September because the company said 6-8 weeks for delivery and we wanted it for Thanksgiving. Problem number 1 was that DH forgot that and then made an extra credit card payment with the money we were going to use. I was able to finagle things so we could still get it, but I was pretty damned p!ssed at the time.
Problem number two was that the arm chairs and the china cabinet were back-ordered and the company wouldn't ship the pieces separately. It did not arrive for Thanksgiving.
Now here we are, on December 9th. I ordered this shizz September 21st. Now they tell me it's still backordered, maybe next week.

I agree about calling to see if they will drop the price. My friend got her couch for practically nothing because of constant problems like this.
I changed my name
I told them I'm calling back Monday and if they haven't found it by then, I want my money back and I'll take my business elsewhere.
I'm angry for you too. I've been dealing with a rep for our office that has been pulling similar crap since August.
I hope it shows up Monday if not I would be asking for the manager and demanding my money back.
They said, "Right. Of course." Which I guess means they'd give me my money back, but I really like the set LOL. H and I have very different styles when it comes to home furnishings and finding something that we both like takes forever. I think I'm going to have him call on Monday and ask for a discount for our trouble. He's better at negotiating those things than I am.
