She's a genius, of course.
She can count to 5, she can do all the motions to the Blues Clues song, she sings along to all her favorite songs, she brushes her own teeth (I inspect of course), she likes to line all her stuffed animals up on the windowsill and talk to them.
She's pretty epic.
Not really. We'll stay home on Christmas day because Guy has to work that night. I think the plan right now is to go to his family's house on NYE weekend. My family we'll just see when everyone is free.
I think it's fine, although I haven't taken El yet because I *know* she'll freak. She does NOT appreciate it when strangers touch her or try to pick her up.

I've onwed 3 cars. the first two I bought outright ($5500 and $3800 respectively) and the second I made payments on, totalling $8500.

Yes, absolutely. However, probably not until Ellie is older and can help take care of it/them.
What I would not do next time around, though, is get my heart set one one breed. I absolutely HAD to have a Scottie. Even though he was a rescue, he is full blood (we got him from a Scottie rescue in Southern AR), and I did not do as much research as I should have to know that allergies/skin problems are common within the breed. However, I adore my Finn and I wouldn't trade him for anything, allergies or not.
I think next time we'll just go to the local shelter and see if any of the dogs would be a good fit for our home.
