Creepiness on FB.

The last guy I dated before Mr. Bang went a little bit insane towards the end and after we broke up. 

Some friends of mine from high school moved to the same town as Crazy Ex - the husband is a pastor. So today I see that Pastor Friend and Crazy Ex have become Facebook friends.

I clicked on Crazy Ex's profile (mistake, I'll grant) and found photos of myself, taken from my FB page (I removed him when we broke up, these are from before but are just of me, not pictures of us doing things together), labeled with captions like, "I love you and miss you" and "my beautiful woman." 

Umm. This guy never used FB when we dated - had basic info and one picture up - so all of this was clearly added after we broke up. 

So, WWTIPD? Send a FB message saying "remove my photos from your page" or ignore? I feel icky.

    How creepy! I'd send a message that says, "Please remove all photos of me from your FB page." Although, I think you have to accept the possibility that he may not remove them? What a weirdo.

    Can you anonymously report them? I'd really try to do anything but start a conversation with this guy.

    There is, I believe, an option to report that someone is using your pictures/harassing you/etc on FB. I would go this route and NOT contact him at all as it would open up a line of communication and he probably wouldn't leave you alone and/or get even creepier.

    I'd be nervous that reaching out to him to ask him to remove the pics would open a can of worms that just should not be opened.  Like now he'll know how to get in touch with you.  Hmmm...

    Under no circumstances contact him directly.  Report the photos to facebook if it really bothers you, but sending him a message will show him that you 'care' enough to look at his page at all.  Not good.

    Color me FB stupid but I didn't know you could report photos! I may do that. It's just weird and it does make me uncomfortable, but you are all right - I definitely do not want to contact this guy directly.

    When you click on a photo, bottom right hand side there is an option to report it

    Super creepy. How long has it been since you dated? I would definitely avoid making any contact. I had to report an ex on FB at one point, and it was pretty easy and anonymous.

    It's been almost a year since we broke up - at which I removed him from my friends list - and the photos were posted in November.

    Are you sure your pictures are set to private and not friends of friends or something? It's weird he has pictures that you just put up. Totally creepy!

    They're pics I had up already, but he just put them up in November - creeptastic! I just double checked my pictures though to be sure they're all on friends only.

    Scary!  I hope you live nice and far away from the creeper!!  First report him on FB second double and triple check all security settings ASAP and third block him like yesterday!  I am assuming you have moved on with your life so I hope you have told your new SO about this so he is in the loop and won't get upset if he sees these photos or attempts to contact you.  If you haven't told your new SO or a roommate if you have one PLEASE PLEASE do!!!  I had a crazy ex when I was younger and if I hadn't told my roommate things might have been worse.  Good Luck!
