Law & Order SVU 12/7 Spoilers

I was amazed at Treat Williams. I think he deserves an Emmy for his performance this week. I thought it was such a good episode and his acting was amazing!

Re: Law & Order SVU 12/7 Spoilers

  • He really was fantastic. It was a great episode. I am actually really happy with the new detectives, too.

  • He was so good. I was amazed. I'm glad I was able to get through the episode because I haven't been watching lately. The young child murders have made me too sad.
  • I agree...he was amazing!

As an aside, did anyone see that Kevin Pollack is going to guest on SVU? I LOVE him!

  • I thought it was a great episode!

I haven't been incredibly impressed this season but this one was really good.

  • What happened in Stabler's last episode?  Is Olivia still on it?  I haven't watched in a while (other than the re-run marathons during the weekdays)!

What happened in Stabler's last episode?  Is Olivia still on it?  I haven't watched in a while (other than the re-run marathons during the weekdays)!

In his last episode, he shot a teenage girl who came to the station with a gun and shot her mother's alleged rapist, who was in a holding cell in the middle of the precinct. He had a crisis of epic proportions after this (in the off-season), and when the new season began, he was out on leave, as his role in the shooting was under review, and Olivia had not spoken with him.

In an early episode this season, the captain called Olivia into his office to tell her that Elliot had "put in his papers." She then had a mini-breakdown in one of the interrogation rooms. In a cut scene later in the season, which was aired as a deleted scene on NBC.com after fans begged Warren Leight (the new execuitve producer) to share it, she opened an envelope that was delivered to her, and it contained a miniature rendition of Elliot's badge, as well as a note that said "Semper Fi... -El." She also, at some point (but not shown on screen) was given his Semper Fidelis medal and now wears it as a third necklace (the first two are necklaces sold by Me&Ro, which is a jewelry company in NYC, that the sales of which benefit the Joyful Heart Foundation, which is the charity that Mariska Hargitay started to benefit victims of domestic violence).

Mariska Hargitay has been and will continue to be in every episode this season, but nothing has been made concrete for next season. There are rumors that she will sign a new contract if the show is renewed, but she also adopted two babies this year, so I don't think it would be beyond a reasonable doubt for her to retire from the show to focus on her family. This has, for a long time, been my number one show, and I am really enjoying it under the new executive producer, so I am hoping it will continue and that she will be in it!
