vent: first world problems

So...I was just complaining on FB about how I ended up having to take an hour lunch instead of a half hour lunch because I had to go to Costco and get gas and was going to get a book inside to bring to my coworker after work (who's recovering from triple bypass surgery he had yesterday) and then they didn't have the paperback (he doesn't like hardback) that I swear I saw there last week. I didn't buy the hardback, but wish I had, then discovered the place I was going to snag lunch was closed (I totally forgot) and I had to grab McDonald's (which I didn't want that crap today) so I could get back to work....and this gal I know from college had to comment "first world problems" and that's it!

I'm sorry, but I find that so friggin' rude and I'm getting so sick of that. I KNOW my complaint is nothing compared to genocide or suicide bombers, etc, but then again I'm not saying it is! It's my own dang status and I can complain if I want to...people can choose to block, unfriend or not read it if they don't care. But my feelings and frustrations are still real and it always ticks me off when people are so dismissive.
