First off, thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday - I didn't have any internet most of the day so I just saw the note! And I also love the pic!
I had a great day yesterday - crammed in a ton of shopping in the morning and then went for a pampering afternoon at the spa. Went out for Mexican dinner with a group of friends to celebrate. It was really great to catch up with everybody.
Today we have to run to the post office in the morning, and then taking DH nieces skating in Central Park. MIL is cooking a big meal, because apparently we'll be celebrating Christmas tonight! I didn't expect her to go through that trouble, but I'm not going to say no to that!
So on that note, happy Saturday and happy holidays!
What are you all up to today?
Re: Happy Saturday!
Morning!
Today I'm writing an IEP from home, and snuggling with my little guy. We have some errands to run, and I have therapy at noon, but it'll be a fun day. We have some final legal things to go over with my brother this weekend, but that's it Monday is coming soon!
I also have a powerpoint slide presentation to work on for my observation on Tuesday!
I slept terribly last night, so I finally got up at 6 with the dogs. The good part about this is that I already ran 3 miles, showered, have two loads of laundry in the works, and cleaned the kitchen and ran the dishwasher.
DH went to get his haircut this morning, and he's going to pick up a tree on the way home. The cable guy is coming at some point between 11-2 to fix one of our boxes, and then I have to go to the emergency room (since the lab isn't open on Saturdays) this afternoon to get my blood drawn for my second betas. I also want to watch The Help (since it is now on demand and I haven't seen it yet) at some point this afternoon/evening and maybe a nap?
Tomorrow I am meeting my mom and she and I are going to North Conway, NH to the outlets to go shopping Sunday and Monday. I haven't seen her since Halloween, so I can't wait!

Good morning, ladies.
The dog and cats decided we should be up at 3am. I've had enough trouble with insomnia lately - how about a little sleep, guys?
We're hiking with friends this morning, then DH is going to smoke some chicken. I've got to finish my SIL's Christmas present and figure out what to get my brother. Plus get cards finished to mail Monday.
Have a great day, everyone!
Good morning!
I'm hitting the shower in a few minutes before going out to pick up ingredients for dinner tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to get through cooking it without gagging! We're having:
Mario Batali's Turkey Meatballs
Garlic Bread
Caesar Salad
White Chocolate - Mint Pot de Creme with Dark Chocolate brittle
St. Clemens (Oranges, lemons, mint, carbonated water)
I can't decide if I should do spaghetti as well. There's more than enough food to do without it. The meatballs are gigantic and baked in sauce, which reduces down... So I feel like the bread should be enough... but I'm not doing an appetizer... so... I don't know. Bah.

Afternoon! I just came back from a hair cut--it looks pretty nice, though my stylist did tell me my hair's pretty dry (which I already knew), so I've got to work to get it healthy again. Blah.
The rest of the day I'm going to try to finally write my review, probably go to the gym and then get the grocery shopping out of the way. We'll have dinner before we tackle the store--I have a LivingSocial for a pizza place we've been wanting to try, so we might go there.
Hi ladies.
The boys still have nasty colds so they are in for the day. I went and did some Christmas shopping. The boys are done. I don't know what I'm going to do when they are older because I could have easily bought way more than I did. I also got DH one gift and just need to get stocking stuffers and the rest of the family.
The boys are down for a nap so I think I'm going to pull the tree out, decorate it and hope the boys don't destroy it.
