I just got a text from my MIL and Josh has pooped on the potty twice today!!! He has told her both times - I think my little man that regressed from potty training is well on his way!!!
Re: Yippee
Yay!
Helen is still trying to get the hang of pooping in the potty. She doesn't go in her panties but she likes to wait until we put her pull-up on at nap time and does it then. We've been using a sticker chart - she gets one sticker for pooping in the potty and she loses one sticker for pooping in her pull-up. She needs 10 stickers to earn her princess castle play tent. It's been about 3 weeks and she currently has only 2 stickers. (She earned one today by pooping in the toilet at Dunkin Donuts!) She'll go on a streak where she earns a few and then she'll regress and lose a few.
P.S. Did you ever think you'd be so excited by poop!?
Yah, never thought I would get so excited about poop!
I figured out the trick with Josh and its that he needs his privacy when he does it...When he is pooping in his pants he will hide so we went in the other night i put him on the potty and left the bathroom (door was open enough for me to peak in to make sure he didn't fall) within a couple minutes he said "all done mumma" and low and behold he had pooped!
Oh the joys

yay! Congrats Josh!
(is it bad that I'm already looking forward to my kid being potty trained? LOL)
Yay! Nice work Josh (and momma!) This potty training business is a lot of work for everyone!
We are at a similar point. Eli is pretty much 100% trained for pee, but has only pooped in the potty a handful of times (granted we've only been potty training for 2+ weeks.) We've noticed him showing signs and rushed him to the potty most of the times, but once he asked to go and we were so excited! Like Kimberly said, never thought I would be so excited and proud about poop!
