T-minus 10 days until we head down to Texas and I am in a panic about all the crap I have to remember to pack, ask MIL about, etc...
Not even mentioning the idea of Coop on a plane, or ME on a plane for the first time in over a year, in a much less drugged up, wine soaked state than my usual in-flight self.
Hee Hee WHHHOOOOOO, Hee Hee WHOOOOOO.
I feel like I need to breathe into a bag or something.
How the hell am I supposed to fit all of this into bags and get us down there....
I just know i am going to forget something I HAVE TO HAVE and not realize it until we are on the flight and I need it right away.
Panic.

MIL is getting a list of stuff to buy so we don't have to go to the store... It isn't once we are there that has me freaking out - it is not having something I need ON THE PLANE, where there is not a store.
I am not packing anything baby supply wise to use while we are there, I have enough crap to shlep down there without trying to cram that stuff in,

OK, here's the dealio: on the plane, you only really need to have a diaper bag that has the same stuff you'd need if you were taking Coop out of the house for 2-3 hours, right? So focus on that: a few diapers, wipes, spare set of clothes, feeding stuff (BM or formula, based on what you're doing - if formula, they make handy-dandy TSA-friendly quick-mix packs), a few toys.
The rest you can pack into checked baggage.
Are you getting Coop his own plane seat, or planning to let him travel by lap? If the former, you can take the car seat onto the plane and strap him right in. If not, you can take car seats and/or strollers right up to the gate and check them there.
Security is, IMO, the toughest part of airline travel. You just need to plan on being delayed and taking your time through there - and don't worry one bit about if anyone is judging you... parents have to deal with that portion constantly and there's no rushing through it. Once you get through security, the rest is smooth sailing.
You'll do great! And make sure Todd deals with his share - maybe put him in charge of all the luggage while you handle the bambino!
Todd is ready for pack mule status.
It really ISN'T just a diaper bag for 2 or 3 hours. You get to the airport early, check your bags, clear the dreaded security, kill the time doing your deal (and your kid's deal,) and, if there is no delay for the plane, you are maybe one hour into your flight around 2 or 3 hours. Have to be prepared in case there is a delay, with enough stuff to do an extra bottle, etc.
We are gate checking the stroller because I want it all the way though the airport, and we aren't taking a car seat, so that is one less thing.
I just keep having these half-awake nightmare type things where we are taking off and suddenly all bajillion pacis I packed are no where to be found.
I don't think it helps to know that I can't travel in my usual anxiety med riddled state. Clearly I have anxiety right now!!!
Hee Hee Whoooooooo... More panic breathing.
