Happy Monday INs! How was everyone's weekend? Any big plans today or tonight?
QOTD: Compared to where you came from, is there anything special in your current home that you enjoy at Christmastime?
We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!

Re: Good Morning
My weekend was good. Friday night the scuba club went to NEMO33 - a very deep pool in Brussels you can dive in and had dinner. We were stuck in traffic and missed the dive (which SUCKS) but the dinner was great, and we'll totally go back! The rest of the weekend we spent time with some friends in Brugge. It was cold, but wonderful! We went to the Ice Fest and the Xmas market.
QOTD: I LOVE the European Christmas markets and mulled wine! I don't think we would ever have something like that at home in VA.
We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!
This weekend I went skiing:-) It was decent early-season skiing even though a lot of the runs and lifts weren't open yet. I'm working afternoon shift all week. Leave for America a week from today:-)
QOTD: MINI MINCE PIES. Love them:-)
Morning. Weekend was OK. We just stayed home and watched Christmas movies. I'm going into town in a little bit with MIL and I'm getting a haircut. I'm pretty excited to be pampered for a little bit.
QOTD: I LOVE the Leeds Christmas market and all the beautiful Christmas decorations around the city center.
Good morning! I had a fun weekend - dinner at a friend's Friday night and DH's work Christmas ceilidh on Saturday. Such silly fun, I love it.
Belgian - we were in Bruges last weekend, super pretty! We didn't make it to the ice thing, was it good? We were just pretty tired after walking around all day so we skipped it.
QODT: I love the German Christmas market downtown (although I haven't been yet this year!) and how everyone makes such a big fuss about the holidays. My work shuts for almost two weeks and there are huge dinners constantly and parties and dances... it's such a fun time of year.

Morning!
We had a fun weekend. We had a party at our place on Friday night. Some guests stayed over and I made eggs benedict in the morning, they had never tried it before and gobbled it up!
Saturday we went to visit a house with garden! Unfortunately the house had mold and was small, but the garden was lovely.
Yesterday I brought M to the xmas market and to the park afterwards to keep him out of H's hair (he was busy working) I had him help me cook lunch and dinner.
QOTD: I love the Christmas Market, vin chaud and that the weather is mild and sunny. It's not like that in Canada.
Morning. I'm very tired today. I didn't sleep well last night thinking about our potential move to another part of London (see my vent above). H and I have alos not been able to kick these colds and we have NCT classes every night this week. I know, I'm being a big whiner today.
QOTD: I love Borough Market around Christmas time!
Morning ladies! I just finished making seve-layer bars, which might or might not have turned out. They don't appear to be setting up, but we'll see once they've cooled. If they don't set up, then we'll have seven-layer bar dip, dammit!
QOTD: Definitely the Christmas markets, and oliebollen!
Good morning! Nothing to crazy. I am getting back to the gym, which is nice. This morning I went and had some fertility test done. Exciting stuff hun!
QOTD: The Christmas markets and mulled wine!
Morning/Afternoon!
Work for me today... started late because I had to take N to the doctor this morning as she has a bad chesty cough... poor thing wasn't too impressed (neither the 40 minute wait nor with the poking in the ears and throat!). She fell asleep in the 5 min drive to my SIL and we brought her straight up to the cot for a nap there even though it's not really nap time. A week of antibiotics beckons... Not sure what time I'll get out at today either... (and just got a text to say that N slept a full 2 hrs!!)
QOTD: I'm living in my home town, but when I lived in Luxembourg I loved the Christmas markets there... so festive!! Apparently there's a big market in Dublin this year but don't think we'll make it there.
Afternoon! We had a rough weekend. Georgia got croup on Thursday night, and seemed alright Friday, but on Saturday was having trouble breathing so we took her to A&E. Nothing serious, but they gave her some medicines and sent us home. She has since seemed to kick the croup part, but it has turned into the nastiest cold she's ever had. She hasn't eaten anything (okay, very, very little) in 4 days and isn't getting much fluid (but a little). She is sleeping a ton, puked all over me, and has the worlds worst runny nose. She cheeks are all flushed and her eyes are watery. Poor thing! She's so sad to look at! We're just hanging out here until she starts to feel better.
Christmastime: I'm glad Starbucks has their Christmas drinks here ;-) I love the eggnog latte. We had some friends over (both British) and introduced them to eggnog, and they thought it was SO gross! We had a good laugh over it because I don't like Mulled wine and they always thought that was funny. Really though, I'm not a fan of English christmas. The cakes are terrible, I don't like mulled wine, I also don't like minced pies. We went to a Christmas market and it wasn't anything nice. I really miss seeing peoples homes decorated for Christmas as no one here puts up lights.
Good morning. I had a fun weekend. Went in NYC to see the Nutcraker with my mom, SIL and family friend. It was a fun girls' night!
Yesterday I had a day to myself to do laundry, read, relax, catch up with friends and pick out a new perfume (Jo Malone White Jasmine and Mint).
QOTD: I love the Christmas music and seeing lights on houses. Even though I don't celebrate it, I just love Christmas!
