Ideas for a creative grab bag gift
Anyone got any For around $20 give or take a few, no gags, no gift cards, and no candy
MIL is having a party next weekend and most creative person gets an extra gift so being greedy I want it!
Re: Ideas for a creative grab bag gift
theme baskets? car car goodies, tea items and fancy cookies/scones/mixes, coffees with flavor teas, homegoods collander and pasta and wooden pasta spoon and dish towel or some other do-dad
make a money tree! http://www.skiptomylou.org/2011/04/19/how-to-make-a-money-tree-teacher-appreciation/
fun game - maybe bananagrams
get a platter at homegoods and load it up with goodies and attach the recipes as a booklet you make and print at home
hmmmm... since you may need some reinforcements anyway since you'll be spending time with you're MIL, maybe get a few mini liquor bottles and a blister pack of excedrin? If that's too obnoxious, you can switch the excedrin for a cute shotglass
Also, Sam's club had some nice giftbaskets made up in that price range. I got a starbucks one for my boss that was cute.
we attended a holiday party with a grab bag that one person chooses and opens and the next can choose a new one or steal another opened one, etc.
the big hot was a george forman grill (not the huge ones, i think it was a $25 range grab bag thing)
you could get a toaster in that price range or a waffle iron that makes neat shapes, a juicer, panini/sandwich grill - some sort of small kitchen electronic gadget that people want but wouldn't necessarily buy themselves.
Thanks for the ideas keep em coming!
Melanie its funny cause last night I was looking @ the Target mailer and there was a waffle maker for 16 bucks so i said lets get that!! Hahaha
