As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Now I need a rec (for my bride-to-be aunt) for a string quartet and caterer
My poor Aunt is just not a planner. Thanks to bh2720 (I think it was her) I suggested Arlington Arts Center as a venue for her 40 person March wedding, and she booked it - yay!
Now she needs ideas for a string quartet to play for 2 hours and for a caterer to bring in food/drink, set up and break down in the room they've booked.
Good Lord I wish she'd get some help planning this wedding that wasn't me. I love her, but I don't really have time. But - one thing I can do of course - is ask the DC Nesties!
So - anyone have recs for a string quartet (or where to even go about finding one) or recs for a catering for a 40 person, 2 hour event at Arlington Arts Center?
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.

Goodness - your aunt needs to get herself on the DC Knot board! JK...
We used Nage's catering for our rehearsal dinner, they were great. We used their Rehoboth location, but they also have a restaurant in DC. http://www.nagerestaurant.com/ (if you're at work, I should warn you that they play music on their website).
