Wow really wasn't expecting the whole Deb being in love with Dexter plot line. The dream sequence was too awkward!! Next week looks pretty good...I do think that they might kill off Harrison, isn't he on the new Tim Allen show? Plus they got rid of Cody and Astor.

Re: Dexter Spoilers 12/11
I've always wondered how hard it was for them to play brother/sister when they are actually married.
But yeah, I was surprised by the dream too.
Let's not go there with last night's episode. Dexter seriously is pissing me off lately. He needs to realize he can't use the same attack skills with everyone he comes in contact with. There is going to be younger and stronger guys than him.
The Deb-Dexter thing grossed me out!!!! UGH I hope they don't have them hook up.
Can't wait for next week. Looks sick. I hope they both get out ok from Travis. I hate that guy seriously...lol.
SO mad that next week is the last episode though.

my read shelf:
Oh yes...the intern with the hand thing. Sending that to Dexter I think says he KNOWS that Ice Truck was his brother somehow. IDK I think this dude is gonna get it next season most likely.
I also think that Angel's sister will be killed off.
my read shelf:
I agree with Angel's sister is going to die but Harrison will live.
I also think much of next season will deal with intern who is probably related to Dexter/Brian or has just figured Dexter out and it about to start an ITK copycat killing spree.
If Deb and Dexter hook up, I will stop watching. No joke, that is just too ridiculous. Incest? Really? That's where they're going now? Ugh.
I think it's gross if they have Deb and Dexter get together cuz that is strange but I don't think it's incest since there is no blood relation at all. Yes, I do think it's gross because well. they have considered each other brother and sister since they were little. Talk about weird. I think Deb is going to get it in her head she wants him thanks to stupid therapists but Dexter won't go for it. If they got together it would be VERY hard for him to go on a kill. He can't lie to Deb and say he is doing work.
my read shelf:
Oh yea...also:
LaGuerta = super biatch. Seriously? I don't know if Deb will be Lt for very long now.
my read shelf:
I'm really disappointed that I watched the previews for the next episode, too. DH never watches them though - he always leaves the room - so at least he'll be surprised about Harrison. Although I agree that I don't think he'll die.
I would love to see what everyone thinks of the Dexter-faced devil painted on the wall, lol.
I also agree that the intern definitely know something about Dexter, and that he'll likely be the set up for the next season.
As far as Deb goes, I'm not too surprised but I don't honestly think that the show will really go there. And if they started to, I can guarantee Dexter would nip that in the bud immediately (at least I hope he would). So it's not really concerning me.

- I'm curious about the wall painting of Dexter, too! However, he can easily defend it by saying Travis wanted to attack Miami Metro
- As far as Dex/Deb... they better not go there.
- I don't think Harrison will die, but Angel's sister will.
- I'm annoyed by Laguerta/Matthews hatin' on Lt. Deb... wtf.
- I'm annoyed that Quinn didn't get in trouble for not being at the Dorsey's house visit with Batista. That's BS.
- I wish there was more of the intern drama this season... and I'm curious if the blonde intern that Masuka loved will ever come back since she was the one that stole the hand
I knew that but I still find it weird. First to watch your spouse having to fool around with someone else on camera because it's in the script. Then it turns into having to watch your ex fool around with someone on camera (well, Deb hasn't really gotten laid in awhile, has she?).
I don't really follow Dexter, but I was watching it with H last night and he said 'Man, I love this show. It's never really 'jumped the shark' in any season."
5 minutes later - Cue the Deb and Dex awkwardness. The shark has officially been jumped.
Blood relation or not, it's incest in my book.
I doubt they are really going to get into an incestuous relationship. I mean Dexter really doesn't care about women in the first place. His entire relationship with Rita was barely more than a disguise to him, a way to look normal. And his thing with Lumen was so tied up with the dark passenger and having someone share the hunt with him, it wasn't normal either. I seriously don't think he will return any sexual advances from Deb. Jmo of course, this show has surprised me before.
This episode was pretty good I thought. I wish they would give us some kind of a clue on the Louis/ITK hand thing. I guess that is going to be the cliff hanger? I expect the preview using Harrison was probably misleading. I don't think they will kill a child character off... I hope.
And ugh, LaGuerta. What a beeotch to set Deb up for that. I hope Deb really fights back somehow.
First, Hi! I'm a Racer Alum/ Fellow Cat fan. You still in the area?
Second- I think they needed to address the Dex/Deb awkwardness. I've been telling my husband for a while now that there's definitely a weird sexual tension there. The dream freaked me out, though. Even if Deb tries something I'm positive Dexter won't go for it.
I could not stop laughing about the Dexter devil painting. He can easily play that off as Travis knowing he was the one to save everyone in the station.
Why the hell didn't Dexter go to the hospital? I'm not sure what he was thinking trying to get a kill when he wasn't at 100%.
There's not way they'll kill Harrison. Angel's sister? Yeah. She's dead. I also feel like they'll probably off LaGuerta soon. She's become too unlikable, plus didn't she die in the first book? I'm just not sure her character has much longevity. Plus, I hate her.
Dexter/Deb: I don't think anything will happen.
I remember in the preview for this Season that Deb is freaking out and screaming and we have yet to hear that in any of these episodes. I am hoping it's in this last episode and it wasn't edited out. I can't wait to see what is going to happen!
Ugh, LaGuerta is such a ***!.
This. I definitely think that everyone finds out about Travis going after Dexter and the obvious reason is because he saved his sister and everyone else at the station. He ruined one of Travis' very important plans for the end of days thing which is pretty important to him.
my read shelf:
Totally. I actually think it was jumped a bit earlier this season in the worst 50 minutes of tv I maybe have ever seen--aka, the Nebraska episode. This is seriously the worst, most laughable and horrible season, imo. And Dexter *used to be* my favorite show on television. It's been painful to watch. I really hope the writers tighten things up for the last 2 seasons.
Thank you! Jeez, my brother and I are adopted, and no. Just no. *shudder*
I don't think they're really going to go there, though. My guess is it's Dex returning from being pulled out of the water, and Deb telling him she loves him. Like a sister does.
Dexter has been so sloppy this season; it's aggravating. I assume he's going to play the painting and his water rescue as Travis going after him because he saved everyone/is Deb's brother, but that's just pure serendipity.
Yes, she did.
I think the Deb/Dex awkwardness is leading up to Deb finally finding out about him. In the books, she knows about his 'dark passenger' and I think this might the way they bring that into the show. He IS getting sloppy, after all.
You may be right. There's no way he can hide it from her for much longer.
