Family TIP

My younger cousin and his second wife (of a year and a half) are splitting up.

It makes me sad that she won't be around as much, I actually like her. But she decided she married too young, and she's tired of being his live-in babysitter for his two kids while he goes out and does whatever he wants, so she left.

I wish I could give her a standing ovation. The only way that could get any better was if she had realized it all BEFORE they got married.

This situation, however, does not do anything to improve my opinion of my cousin. I think he's a total Richard.

Re: Family TIP

  • Aww, well good on her for realizing what she'd gotten herself into and making the change. Too bad for those kids, though. I hope they don't take it personally.
  • I do feel bad for the kids. They love her to death, to the point where they cry when she has to drop them off with their mom (who is a disgusting pig farmer. seriously--she raises pigs. in their trailer.) Now, I'm assuming they'll spend all their time with my aunt and uncle, because I'm pretty much betting on my cousin continue to be a total piece of shiit.

  • Its a sad situation for the kids. Is she still able to see them?

I am actually in a similar situation as her .

  • Good for her.

I like your new sig. heh, heh.

I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns
  • Another good for her!

I'm not sure. I get the feeling that their mom would let her see them anytime, but I don't necessarily get the feeling that she would ask that of their mom. It would probably be the other way around, when the kids bugged her about it enough.

  • Sad situation for the kids, but she deserves better than that and bravo to her for recognizing it.

Enlightenment though-- was it a spellcheck moment, but what is a Richard? Did you mean to say he was a b.a.s.t.a.r.d?

Sorry about the kids, that's really a shame, but she's got to do what's right for her.

Betty, "richard" refers to "d*ck".  (Let's see if that shows up)
