His 103 temp came back. We have a call into his doctors office. Hopefully a nurse will call back soon. I'm not sure how high I should let it go before I take him in. I know these things should run their course, but 103 seems really high to me. The discharge papers yesterday said that if it was above 102 to seek medical attention asap. I just don't know what they will do that I haven't. I've done everything they did yesterday. Vibes he gets better would be appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Update on Parker
William born 7/12/2000
Andrew born 10/30/2011 (9lb 4oz at 37 weeks)
My Ped said that really a fever is a good sign because they are fighting infection. There also isn't really a high enough fever that can really cause seizures because you would know by now if that was the case-they mostly worry about high temps with little babies (3 months and under).
Be worried if he won't eat or drink because he can get dehydrated that way.
He said whenever he has a fever, rotate tylenol and motrin.
Lots of vibes. I think you did the right thing by calling and I hope they get back to you soon.
I just realized that I didn't finish my thought!
I hope Parker feels better! And I hope you are doing okay too! Sick babies aren't any fun (except cause the get so snuggly)
