The copier at work is down.... This means we can?t work. No scanning, copies, or printing out work. Nothing.... So it's a perfect time to give you ladies an update of me.
It?s been a long time since my last posting.
Here is an update on horrible MIL: She is trying to come around and chat with me a little more. Last week we went to her granddaughter?s/ our niece?s Christmas Show at church. She sat next to me and started small talk. She even went as far as: ?oh what are your sizes so I can purchase a gift for you and my son for Christmas?. Mind you she has never given me a gift for the past 7 Christmas. I took it with a grain of salt and just smile and gave her the info. I know I should be happy, but it just gets under my skin. Hopefully, Our Lord will open my heart to let the past go and start a new beginning with my MIL.
Hubby and I are wonderful. We started decorating the house for the holidays. We are hosting Christmas this year with my side of the family. My brother from Maryland is coming down for Christmas. We are working extra hard to set up the guest room for him. It?s a storage room now. Each year we alternate the holidays to make it far for all the families. We have 3 sets (His Mother & Father?s Side and My Family).
This year has gone by super fast for us. We have accomplished some of our goals for 2011. Hopefully everything we have plan for 2012 will come true. Wishing you ladies a wonderful holiday season and that your plans for 2012 will come true as well.
XOXO Little Vero

Good luck wtih the MIL situation - sounds like the possibility of a new year's resolution on both ends, to establish a new relationship with each other.
Wishing you the best with it!!!
And have fun hosting Christmas!!! Enjoy your holiday season!!!
It's nice that MIl is appearing to try to be nice. Keep up the positive vibes, because at least that way you won't have any regrets on how you acted towards her, nor could she say anything bad about you :-)
Enjoy hosting Christmas, I find I like it even though it might be a bunch of work, you don't have to travel!
