We moved!
Hi ladies!
I see its been super quiet around here. Hope you're all well.
So, Saturday we moved to our new house in Staten Island (so thrilled to be here) and are more than halfway done unpacking which is pretty amazing considering all of the stuff we have. Im shocked. LOL...Verizon came today to set up our internet (btw, we switched from Time Warner who we had an account with for YEARS - had 5 appointments with them - before we moved, through our move to set up service, and 5 times they never showed, and couldnt give us a good reason why they just dont show up. So we switched..)
Sunday was Avery's baptism (I have to upload pics still) and it was an amazing turnout. From what I've always experience, people typically dont show up at the church, but rather the festivities afterward. She had 70 people show at the church and then we all went to the restaurant afterward. DH and I were exhausted, but it was a really great day
Since DH decided to treat us to a brand new kitchen, its been totally re-done. Radiant heating in the floors, porcelain tile, new walls, high hats for lights. Tomorrow, kitchen suite (appliances) get delivered, and Tuesday all the cabinets come and finally I will have my kitchen and all will be well.
Im off to Target to purchase curtains and then having a couple of beers! LOLOL
