And I need some quick read suggestions!

I am three books away from my 2011 goal. I'm in a horrible rut. I've started 3-4 books that I just can't get into. I'm about 1/3 of the way through each but had to force myself to get that far. If I can find books that I like I know I can meet my goal. I've already read The Hunger Games and Bossypants, those were really easy reads for me. I can post a longer list of what I've read when H goes down for a nap.

Re: And I need some quick read suggestions!

  • How about some of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich? They're short, easy, and I find them to be really hilarious.
  • What about the CS Lewis/Narnia series?

I was going to write pretty much this exact reply.

  • The Stephanie Plum books sounds perfect. Plus, I already have them. Thanks!

I loved CoN when I was a kid - I didn't realize people reread them as adults, but I suppose it's no different than HP or The Hunger Games.

Yes, I'm on GoodReads. I have plenty of suggestions and to-read books there, but I wanted to get some personal recommendations so I have a better chance of actually finishing them given the short deadline.
