Re: How much shopping do you have left?
Pretty much done...still have to do a photo book for my parents, but am waiting for a good deal :-) since we don't celebrate Christmas and I won't see them at Hannukah, I don't really need to get anything on time.
I am done with most everyone else...
we got the ILs a photo book which just shipped.
I got SIL and her new husband one of those last name things where the letters are all photos of buildings, lamp posts, etc (from framethealphabet.com - I had a groupon for $55 for the $135 setup and just had to pay another $10 in shipping).
Thank goodness, we decided with BIL that we'd just do gifts for the kids - I got their son Henry a bunch of books leftover from their baby registry and from Etsy I got some bookplates that say "This book belongs to Henry" and they have a whale on them which is his nursery theme.
I feel bad about not really getting my parents anything...and we didn't really get anything for the ILs either, but I think a photo book is enough (even if it did only cost me $20, I had a groupon for Picaboo).
We don't do gifts with friends or anything. I usually do treats for the neighbors but I've done it two straight years and no one ever reciprocates so I think I'll just stop...I figure they all know I just had a baby too so I can use that as an excuse. hah.
I'd say I have about 40% left - Matt, my parents, my brother, SIL, and FIL. I pretty much know what I'm getting for everyone but FIL. My parents are dependent on what I can find at the two places I am going this week. If I can't find what I want, I'll have to go online (I need to get this done so I don't have to pay for shipping!).
I'm so behind this year. Vacation after Thanksgiving threw me off. If was fun, but it definitely cut in to my holiday time and spirit.

Everyone? Couple people? Still have some stocking stuffs for DH, an addition item for my grandmother, and my parents.
What do you have to get? I don't know yet. I really wanted to get my parents Bruins tickets, but they are kind of expensive. If I don't do that I have no idea.
Will you buy it online or go out? For DH and my grandmother I'll look around in stores until I find something. Bruins tickets I'll either get online or through work. If I need a new idea I don't know where I'll go, but probably a store.
I bought my sister & brother My K-Cups and I might get them a package of kcups ... and hopefully pictures of them with the baby. I ordered free photobooks for our parents but might get something else additional. I ordered my SIL a print from etsy.
DH-- still debating... he needs a GPS so if I can find a good deal, I might get one. I am trying to debate about purchasing him a livingsocial deal for a massage.
I am not doing anything for friends...
I have everyone but my BIL done. We do secret santa with DH's family so that was my draw.
I am either getting him a gift card or was thinking maybe a basket of his favorite drink- like the alcohol, whatever he mixes it with and a nice glass. I have to ask my SIL what he drinks still .
Definitely have to go out but luckily it will just be to CVS where they have all those GC's to choose from or the liquor and grocery store. Oh and I guess I would have to go somewhere to find a nice glass but that is easy enough.
I have to get my dad and my brother online gift cards, I will do this last minute with our last paycheck before Christmas.
I need to get my BIL a gift card, I have to go to the store for that, it's a local salt water fish place. I'm also going to make him some peanut butter balls.
I need to pick up my SIL and brother's FI a Christmas Candle, I'm going to try to do this, this week but it's not looking good.
I need to get my mom something, she wants some sweaters from Walmart and I will probably going some night after work for that.
I also need to pick up some chocolates across the street from work for our Yankee swap with family on Sunday.
My biggest concern is getting my menu and baking planned and make a list for that. I really didn't want to be in this position but I am again, at least my apartment is already cleaned.

90% of it is left and I'm FREAKING out....We are supposed to go shopping on Saturday but that is all going to depend on Rick and his schedule...He should be out at 2 and that will allow us to go but lord knows if we will find what we need!
I have a TON of baking I want to do and will do most of it while on vacation (starting Friday) and then I have to cook Christmas dinner for 12 so that is always a chore! Looking forward to having our families together though.
Everyone? Couple people? Have my sister left and some White Elephant gift exchanges to buy for.
What do you have to get? Ohh, I forgot I have to get Suri some boots.
Will you buy it online or go out? I'll go out and get the stuff.
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
I'm about to order most of it on amazon. I'm shipping gifts to our cousin's kids in CA and MO, and getting a garmin for my dad and a knife for MIL. I'll probably go to kohls this weekend and get PJs for our moms and a sweater for FIL. I already got little gifts for my local cousins' kids.
I have NO IDEA what to get my brother. I think C is going to get some kind of woodworking tool for SIL and her BF.
So at this point, its really my brother that's left, plus I need to make cookies/etc for the local family as "gifts". I haven't gotten anything for C yet either. Technically we have a $50 limit. I'm thinking about getting the miter saw she wants anyway. My other big idea is replacing all her watch batteries (like 5 hah) but I might do that for her bday in Feb (so exciting I know). I also need to get over to BBB and pick up Sophies for the babies.

Just my grandma left. She's IMPOSSIBLE to give gifts to.
I have no idea what to get her. I usually do something with photos. Last year was a book of all the family cats, which she loves and shows everyone. I'm just not sure if the photo thing is getting over done....
I'll go out to get it somewhere.
