This weekend was GREAT! It was probably one of the most fun weekends I have ever had in my adult life.
We went to see Roger Creager (I got his autograph), we went to the Alamo, we walked through a couple of nature preserves, ate AWESOME food, he got me a Garmin Forerunner 305 for my birthday, we went to see another singer in Austin while he was on an acoustic tour and as planned, I did my trapeze lesson on Saturday afternoon! It was great and my second one, so they taught me more tricks! Mr. K said he knew I was athletic, but he never realized I could do the things I did while taking that class. He said I made everything look so easy. ![]()
Yesterday, we bought our running trail shoes for the race we're doing in Hill Country in early January.
For the first time in my life, I told someone I loved them first and I totally embarrassed myself. I have been wanting to tell him for a while now, but I didn't have the guts. We were getting close to my place and I told him that I had something random to tell him. He said, "Ok." And I paused for a second, looked at him and blurted out "I love you!."
He looked totally shocked (because he knows I don't tell ANYone that, but my Mother) and looked at me... Well, he didn't say anything for a few seconds, so I freaked and started rambling on about how I didn't tell him so he felt the urge to tell me, if he didn't feel the same way. I told him that it is how I felt and that I just thought it was something he needed to know.
He put a huge smile on his face and told me that he loved me too. My response was, "Really? Seriously?!" He told me that he absolutely loves me too. He has wanted to tell me a couple of times, but he couldn't find the right time/place.
Oh, and I am on a mini laptop that doesn't like to PIP, so I will just do the links.
Sorry this picture is dark, but this is me doing the splits:

This is me being silly with a tight_ass harness on waiting my turn to "fly!"

Re: My birthday weekend, trapeze lessons, & the "L" word.
Yay! Glad you had such a great weekend. Super yay for the L word and being the first to say it. I'm so happy for you!
You're really pretty too! It's always nice to put a face to the siggy pic--I was always imagined your posts as a talking dog
LMAO @ my pots being a talking dog.
And thank you! I don't think I am photogenic, that's why I prefer being goofy in my pics, like in this one:

They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
I like goofy pics too but mine are usually some version of a scrunched up face or tongue sticking out. I'd PIP but I don't want to hijack your thread with my goofy awesomeness. I'll leave that for when I to come visit you in TX and get hooked up with some hot cowboy
Come on down! I have a 2 bedroom! I can find a hot Cowboy for ya.

Thanks, ladies!!
