Christmas Plans?
What is everyone doing for Xmas?
We're going to my parents' and the ILs will probably be coming too. We're celebrating with my brother and his family with brunch at our house next Sat as they are going to my SIL's family on Xmas Day.
L will probably be a sheep in the pageant on Xmas Eve - too big to be Jesus this year!
Re: Christmas Plans?
Christmas eve we are going to DH family house. We will stay there a couple of hours and then come home.
Christmas day it will be just the 3 of us. I don't know if we will go to church or not. I think it would be special to go but not sure if my church will meet on Sunday or not since a lot of people go out of town. We will open presents, have lunch and rest probably.
On Monday I might go to the after Christmas sales because I want to find done stockings, stocking holders and a few things for outside.

Once again, Christmas is becoming more stressful than it should....
Christmas Eve we always do dinner with my Dad's family (15-20 people). This year we are going to my aunt and uncle's house. However, we are playing it by ear b/c my Grandpa had heart surgery last week. He is doing very well and should be coming home today. He lives about 15 minutes away from the party, so he can go home if he gets too tired.
We were planning to exchange gifts with my parents and sister earlier that day, but my dad didn't ask off work, so he works until 4. (If you need last minute gifts, Home Depot is open on Christmas Eve). We may still open gifts then b/c he won't care if he misses it.
Christmas morning will be just the 3 of us.
Later that day we will celebrate with John's family (parents, sister, and uncle). We want them to come to our house so Chase can stay on his regular schedule, but his mom is insisting we go to her house. His dad and sister both work until 7 am, so we won't do anything until late afternoon. Then, his dad has to be back at work at 7 pm. His dad is like mine and doesn't care if isn't there. His sister and uncle are not speaking to each other but will say snide remarks about each other all day. Her house will be crowded and isn't very Chase friendly b/c of the layout. It's going to be a mess!
The day after Christmas we are celebrating with my mom's side of the family (aunt, uncle, and cousin) at my aunt and uncle's house. John isn't going b/c he has to work and they live about an hour away. My dad will probably have to work too. It's a tradition to all wear new pajama pants this day.
