HP - Anatole! I was trying to remember that book.
Phineus and Ferb have a show that includes several French phrases and I know they go to Paris at some point - not sure about any books; didn't find any on Amazon.
Asterix is a famous French comic book and his travels include paris.
And don't forget Ratatouille - He should be beloved by a foodie like you:
