DIY Christmas... What would you want?
My SIL's and I are doing a DIY Christmas... sort of a fun way to force us to use our Pinning for something
So, if you were going to receive a DIY item from someone, what would be on your list?
Jewelry? Home Decor? Apparel?
Just trying to get some extra idea's... I have a few things in mind to make but am not 100% sure what I want to do.
Re: DIY Christmas... What would you want?
So Tasty, So Yummy
Probably a DIY bulletin board for my craft room or maybe a pretty ruffle pillow.

~~PGAL/PAL Always Welcome!~~
From my husband, shelves built in the hall closet that I've been wanting since we moved into our home almost 6 years ago.
From friends who sew, I'd love an apron, a throw, a cute bag, makeup bag, personalized recipe book like the one I made my MIL last year, ruffly tree skirt, luggage tags, a book cover with a sewn-in book mark for the large-print paperbacks (also would work for a Bible), and things like this.
From friends with talents like Jax I'd love a refurbished/repurposed piece of junk furniture turned into something amazing like a small end/accent table, wall art, etc. An old shutter repurposed into a holiday card, bill, or photo organizer could be cool.
Other crafty fun things could include
a cool modge podged momentos box covered in photos and scraps of fabric reflecting things I love or moments we have shared as friends.
a garden stone (they have kits at Michaels and Hobby Lobby)
a mosaic tiled small table for holding plants or whatnot on your porch
A crocheted or sewn wine glass cozy
The possibilitis are endless.

THANK YOU Pagas for this idea - We have a Homemade gift exchange every year and I had an idea of something that I wanted to make, but it was NOT coming out right - WHY didnt I think of this.
Those no-sew fleece blankets are easy to make (cut the edges and tie them in knots), and you can "personalize" them somewhat with the fabric you choose.
A homemade ornament would be cute - with the year, or something personalized on it.
Check the crafts board - there are usually a lot of cute ideas people share over there that are homemade.
Kris, will you PM me her contact info? I would like to see what her coffee mug cozies look like and ask what she charges & what her turnaround would be this time of year. TIA!
The easiest way to contact her is on facebook. Baby K Creations. She does mostly applique shirts but I saw the mug cozies on her page a few days ago.
