What to do about follow up?
I had an interview yesterday and at the end of it, the supervisor told me that she was going to recommend to HR that they give me an offer. She said they would be in touch and needed my references, etc.
HR called me yesterday and sent over the benefits package and got my references. I know they had to do a background check. So I haven't gotten an official offer yet.
Here is my question: I was so excited that she told me she was going to recommend giving me an offer that I ran out of there before I got her business card. Hence, I can't send her a thank you/follow up email nor do I really even know how to spell her last name. Forgo sending the email or call corporate office to try and get it? FWIW, I do have her phone number so I could call her and thank her.
Advice?
