S/O store bought desserts

I'm making it easy on myself this year and purchasing dessert for Christmas eve (I'll make some for Christmas).  From my post below, I was thinking about Cheesecake Factory, but I'm not so sure I'm lazy enough to spend that much.

So- what are my other options?  I know Costco does good pies, but honestly I'm not a huge pie lover and would like something else.  Christmas day is a berry crisp (that I've already assembled frozen).

Re: S/O store bought desserts

  • I order my pies from Perkins. I Love them.
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes is great, and of course LC cupcakes!

  • I could NEVER spent that much on a cheesecake - yikes!

Costco always has a rocking selection of neat cakes and suck right before Christmas.

I have a good recipe for super lazy almond pound cake you can make in advance too.

  • The cheesecakes from Costco are pretty delicious if you want to go with a cheesecake, but not spend $$.

  • Doesn't Costco have a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake too? Maybe in the frozen section?

  • Costco was giving out samples of an awesome pumpkin cake yesterday - it was really, really yummy. They also had a red velvet that looked amazing and a tiramisu that I almost bought. They have lots of choices!

Sams has the Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake and it is good. I think they're pretty darn good for freezer stuff. Just remember to take them out of the freezer a day or so before you want to eat them.

  • Costco has a ton of good dessert options including cheesecake.
  • Christmas is all about the Village Inn peppermint chip pie for us.   Think french silk but with a chocolate crust and candy cane chips.
